Rihanna is the better of the 2 . not just because she is well known, but she is so versatile in her work & in her wardrobe ... so I go with Rihanna .

M.I.A. wasn't really singing in paper planes & to be honest that is the only record of hers that I have ever listened to . She is somewhat singing & it was somewhat annoying, now Rihanna has some annoying songs too, but I guess with me it's just a faniliarity thing . I am familiar with Rihanna's voice . She is more commonly heard .

these are two very different people. I can see if you were comparing two people who had some similarities. M.I.A. dont look dirty she just dress different she reminds me of the 90's thm crazy ass outfits with all the colors. Honestly I would buy a M.I.A. album before i bought a rihanna album because i like originality. Rihanna has originality but it aint original enough for me not to download her shit off line. M.I.A. however would get bought because its so different
